I began my Concierge career in 2001 as a porter at the 5 * Hilton hotel in Cardiff, Wales where I quickly progressed to the role of Concierge. After spending 5 years at the Hilton I moved on as a Concierge to the Celtic Manor Resort, Newport, Wales, a luxury 5 * property and venue for the Ryder Cup 2010. 1 year on I was offered my first Chief Concierge position at The Mercure in Cardiff where I also became a member of Les Clefs d’Or, UK.
At the end of 2007 while emigrating g to Australia I decided to travel and see some of the world taking in the sights of Asia for two months. I started as the Chief Concierge at The Sebel & Citigate, Hotels , Brisbane in January 2008 and also transferring to the Australian chapter of Les Clefs d’Or.
I love being a Concierge because no two days are ever the same. You could be ordering flowers one day or organizing a charter flight for ten people the next. Since becoming a Les Clefs d’Or member it has proven to be an endless source of education, information and knowledge combined with time served experienced Concierge ready to assist fellow members no matter how big or small the request.
