Scope of Role:

The role of Chairman of the Interview Committee is an elected position. The Chairman is selected by the members of the Interview Committee.

Terms of Election:

Bi Yearly. Elected by membership

Reports To:

The President and Executive of LCD Australia

Responsibilities:

  • Meets the criteria of and Active Member as defined in the LCD Constitution
  • Updates and maintains of all potential new members files
  • Co-ordinates the convening interviews with the Executive Committee
  • Communicates the convening of LCD Interviews with prospective candidates
  • Development of the interview structure
  • Development of the Interview Committee members
  • Reporting the Interview Committee’s recommendations to the Executive Committee
  • Conducting the interview process in a fair and unbiased manner
  • Provides a follow up and offers guidance to unsuccessful interviewees
  • Liases with potential new members
  • Is responsible for liasing with State Delegates
  • Attend the National AGM
