President of Les Clefs d'Or Australia
Scope of Role:
The President is an elected position within the Executive Committee, he/she is the figure head and public face of both the Society and the Executive Committee and has responsibility for the day to day running of the Society.
Term of Election:
Bi Yearly. Elected by the membership
Reports To:
The Director of Zone Australia/Oceania and the UICH Executive.
Responsibilities:
- Meets the criteria of an Active Member as defined in the LCD Constitution
- Acts as Chairman of meetings
- Is the contact point for all international correspondence
- Is responsible for representing the society as its public face
- Liases with the Chairman of the Interview to convene the interview committee
- Liases with the Executive Committee
- Oversees the organisation of the National AGM
- Promotes LCD ideals on a national basis
- Is responsible for the conduct of members at national industry related events or when they are representing LCD
- Acts as a mediator for any LCD related issues on a National or State scale if required
- Reporting of the same to the LCD Executive Committee
- Provides a point of contact for external enquiries
- Attend the International Congress in an official capacity
- Attend the National AGM in an official capacity
- Attend the New Zealand AGM in an official capacity
- Attend LCD State Balls in an official capacity
- Attend and officiate at the Key Presentations of new members
- Delegate duties and responsibilities amongst the National Executive and Members
