The Public Relations role with in our society is newly established, and was created in part by the societies desire to broaden the opportunities to showcase our role. Not only are concierge goodwill ambassadors with in their individual properties, we also play an integral role with in the broader tourism industry.

The level of professionalism combined with a wealth of intellectual property means that our members are in the unique position of being able to showcase our cities, regions and countries in a way that no other organization can. Our array of contacts and long held relationships with other tourism organizations enable us to make the magic happen.

Our society has long believed that the symbol of Les Clefs d’Or (the Crossed Gold Keys) is as recognizable as any luxury brand, indeed the concierge can be invaluable to the traveler because of his or her ability to call upon our global family which transcends across all hotel brands.

The Australian Chapter acknowledges its role in the broader hospitality community and for the last thirteen years the society has held its annual Les Clefs d’Or Balls in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. Not only are they a night of celebration and an opportunity to socialize with friend and colleagues, importantly they raise money for the various charitable endeavours that we proudly support.

The role of the Concierge is becoming more recognised with in the Hospitality Industry, to such an extent that various organizations have instigated Concierge of The Year Awards. Whilst these awards acknowledge the individual, it serves to further enhance the reputation of our collective.
